About the Role

  • Oversee financial reporting, accounting governance, and data-driven business insights.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all finance and accounting matters.

Job Description

  • Senior finance and accounting leader responsible for end-to-end client engagement management.
  • Accountable for financial reporting accuracy, process standardization, and KPI alignment.
  • Partners with FP&A and business leaders to deliver actionable insights and strategic reporting.
  • Provides mentorship, bandwidth management, and performance oversight for distributed teams.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing US and international accounting or finance teams.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, month-end close, and supporting schedules.
  • Experience collaborating with FP&A teams to validate historical data and provide financial commentary.
  • Hands-on experience serving as primary client contact for finance and accounting matters.
  • Experience supporting CPG, DTC, wholesale, Tech, or SaaS business models.
  • Familiarity with audit requirements and regulatory reporting expectations.

Skills

  • Team leadership including delegation, mentorship, resource planning, and bandwidth management.
  • Strong client management with executive stakeholder engagement and high responsiveness standards.
  • Ownership of financial reporting including supporting schedules, workbooks, and process documentation.
  • Process development ensuring replicability, accuracy, and scalable reporting frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory flow, COGS, Opex classification, and capitalization principles.
  • Experience managing revenue waterfall and deferred revenue models in SaaS environments.
  • Understanding of sales tax implications across DTC, wholesale, and subscription models.
  • Ability to design and develop KPIs aligned to industry benchmarks and business performance.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational capabilities.
