About the Role

    • Support quality assurance initiatives across backend banking operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
    • Monitor process adherence and evaluate transaction quality against defined banking and regulatory standards.
    • Partner with operations, training, and compliance teams to drive continuous process improvement.
    • Identify quality risks, recommend corrective actions, and strengthen operational controls.
    • Contribute to a culture of quality, compliance, and customer-focused service delivery.
  • Job Description

    • Conduct regular audits and quality reviews of backend banking transactions and operational processes.
    • Monitor employee performance against established quality standards and provide actionable feedback.
    • Identify process gaps, operational risks, and compliance issues while recommending corrective measures.
    • Prepare quality reports, scorecards, dashboards, and management review presentations.
    • Support root cause analysis initiatives and implement preventive controls to reduce errors.
    • Collaborate with training and operations teams to improve process knowledge and quality performance.
    • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and quality assurance frameworks.
    • Maintain quality documentation, audit records, and process checklists.
  • Qualifications

    Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline.
    • Professional certifications in Quality Management, Banking Operations, Compliance, or Process Excellence are preferred.
    • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent quality certifications are an added advantage.
  • Experience

    • 2–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Banking Operations, or Financial Services environments.
    • Experience conducting transaction audits, process reviews, and compliance assessments.
    • Hands-on exposure to backend banking operations and operational quality frameworks.
    • Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives, reporting, and stakeholder reviews.
    • Knowledge of banking regulations, risk controls, and compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Skills

    • Strong knowledge of banking operations including account maintenance, payments, reconciliations, and compliance processes.
    • Understanding of banking regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, data privacy, and operational controls.
    • Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, dashboards, and quality management frameworks.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify process deviations and quality risks.
    • Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
    • Strong documentation, reporting, and quality governance capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, training, compliance, and leadership teams.
    • Knowledge of risk management practices and operational quality standards within banking environments.
