About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our Managed Services operations focused on U.S. banking back-office processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in banking operations and should possess strong domain knowledge, preferably with certifications in key banking functions such as payments, loans, trade finance, compliance.
  • This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory and SLA compliance, driving process improvements, and leading a team of specialists to deliver high-quality services to U.S.-based financial institutions.

Job Description

  • Deep domain expertise in at least one key banking function, supported by relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Banking & Accounting Professional); NACHA; ACAMS; ICBA; or equivalent U.S. banking certifications. Manage and oversee end-to-end back-office operations for U.S. banking clients, including but not limited to:
  • Payment Processing (ACH, Wire, Checks), Loan Servicing, Trade Finance Documentation, Reconciliation & Settlements, Regulatory Reporting & Compliance.
  • Lead a team of process specialists and associates; ensure workload balancing and resource optimization.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned banking processes.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement, automation, and control enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, compliance standards, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and relationship management.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, business reviews, and improvement plans.
  • Support transition and onboarding of new clients/processes into the managed services model.
  • Stay updated with U.S. banking regulations, compliance updates, and best practices.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in U.S. banking back-office operations within a managed/ shared service, or bank captive environment.
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial role, with a proven track record in leading large teams and operations.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. banking compliance requirements and operational risk controls.
  • Experience with workflow tools, banking platforms, and automation technologies.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage change and drive transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
