About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to support project management activities across multiple technology stacks in an IT services environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing projects in diverse tech areas such as Java, .NET, Python, Salesforce, RPA, and cloud platforms. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and technical understanding to drive project delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Supervise and mentor cross-functional development teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to maintain clear communication.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or Asana for task tracking, reporting, and KPI management.
  • Provide technical oversight across multiple stacks, including web development, cloud (AWS/Azure), CRM (Salesforce), and RPA.
  • Identify and manage project risks, escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure deliverables meet quality and testing standards.
  • Support Agile/Scrum or Waterfall processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain project documentation including plans, status reports, and post-implementation summaries.
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field; PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL certification preferred.
  • 4–5 years of experience in IT project coordination or management across diverse tech stacks.
  • 4–5 years of supervisory or team lead experience in IT services or software development.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major technology stack and exposure to multi-stack project environments.

Experience

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • 10+ years in US Banking/Financial Services.
  • 5+ years in the Mortgage Line of Business.
  • 10+ years of experience in process mapping and documentation.
  • Minimum 5 years working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • Experience with US banking regulations and compliance requirements.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, Salesforce, RPA (Blue Prism/UiPath), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Proficiency with project management tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities for technical and operational challenges.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
