About the Role

We are executing a high-visibility BI modernization program, transitioning from QlikView to a modern BI stack (Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake). The Scrum Master will lead agile teams delivering data pipelines, dashboard migrations, and governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and agile best practices.

Job Description

Scrum Execution

Facilitate all agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage sprint backlog grooming and define the Definition of Done (DoD).
Track team velocity, sprint burndown, and proactively resolve delivery blockers.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, including BI COE and platform owners.
Partner with Product Owner to prioritize backlog and define sprint goals.
Maintain transparency through JIRA/Confluence boards and timely status reporting.

Delivery Assurance

Manage dependencies across data ingestion, cleansing, modeling, visualization, and governance tasks.
Ensure alignment with platform migration goals (Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks).
Monitor risks, escalate impediments, and drive continuous improvement.

Team Enablement

Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team culture.
Mentor and coach team members on Agile principles and BI/data domain practices.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

5+ years as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 BI/Data Engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Experience managing sprints involving Power BI, Alteryx workflows, or Snowflake pipelines.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.

Experience

5+ years as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 BI/Data Engineering projects.
