About the Role

  • Lead and oversee a team managing complex and high-risk delinquent mortgage accounts within the Loss Mitigation function.
  • Drive quality case resolution, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence across team deliverables.
  • Ensure strong customer service standards while balancing compliance and investor requirements.
  • Provide leadership oversight on escalations, high-risk borrower scenarios, and decision validation.
  • Operate in a Night Shift environment supporting US mortgage servicing portfolios.

Job Description

  • Supervise analysts handling loss mitigation cases including escalations and complex borrower profiles.
  • Review and approve loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and repayment plans.
  • Monitor productivity, SLA adherence, and quality benchmarks across the team.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with foreclosure, bankruptcy, underwriting, and legal teams for case resolution.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement structured process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare performance dashboards and share insights with senior management.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in mortgage servicing or financial analysis are advantageous.

Experience

  • Progressive experience in US mortgage loss mitigation or mortgage servicing operations.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising loss mitigation teams preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US mortgage investor guidelines including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA.
  • Hands-on experience working with mortgage servicing systems and case management platforms.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities in high-risk borrower scenarios.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory, investor, and internal servicing guidelines.
  • Leadership capability with experience in coaching and performance management.
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Effective stakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate in Night Shift (Noida location) within a structured servicing environment.
